Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 5, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Teleport (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) handles your data when you use our Android application.
1. No Personal Data Collected
Teleport does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from users. Your data remains entirely on your device.
2. Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience. This may include:
- Device type and OS version
- Button clicks and screen visits
- App launch frequency
You can disable analytics tracking anytime via the Settings > Analytics toggle within the app.
3. Crash Reporting
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes and bugs. Crashlytics provides real-time crash reports to help us diagnose issues and improve stability.
- No personal information is collected in crash logs.
- Data is anonymized and used solely for debugging and maintenance.
4. Deep Link History
- Teleport stores a local history of deep links you have launched, only on your device.
- Links older than 30 days are automatically deleted.
- You may clear your history at any time via the app's interface.
5. Data Security
All data handled by the app is stored locally and never transmitted to external servers unless sent via Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics, as outlined above.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the revised version will be made available within the app or linked from the app store listing.
